end of life services

End of Life / Terminal Illness fingerprinting sessions allow your loved one to intentionally leave you with a piece of themselves that is unique to this body and lifetime. We come to them in hospice/hospital/home to obtain their fingerprint impressions in fine silver clay.

Confidentiality and compassion are of utmost importance to us and we consider our time with your loved one a sacred gift.

Printing usually takes 15-30 minutes (depending on how many we are making, and how ready your loved one is to participate upon our arrival).

The prints are fired and finished and made into beautiful bracelets, necklaces or key chains.

life review/Legacy projects

We come to you/your loved one in order to record a Life Review and/or assist in creating a Legacy Project. A Life Review helps the patient recall and record past events/memories in an effort to find meaning in and achieve resolution of one’s life journey. These reviews allow the patient to transition more peacefully, having told their story and left record of this for loved ones and future generations. The review may be written or audio/video recorded, depending on the individual patient wishes. Legacy Projects may include designing a photo book, video montage, painting, personalized jewelry, or any sort of creative project that the patient enjoys and can physically manage. The goal is for family and friends have a handmade token of love and lasting keepsake to cherish for years to come. We work with the patient to come up with a project(s) that speak most to their heart, to who they are, and to the life they have lived. These offerings are included in the End of Life Doula Services, but can be arranged as stand-alone services, as well.
